Dr Jessica Manson PhD FRCP

Dr Jessica Manson is a Consultant Rheumatologist at University College Hospital and an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London.  She is a general rheumatologist with a special interest in acute rheumatology and hyperinflammation.

Dr Manson leads the multi-speciality haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) service at UCLH; helping to manage complex patients from around the UK.  She also co-founded and co-chairs HiHASC, a group of doctors and scientists committed to improving outcome for patients with HLH and other forms of hyperinflammation.  The UK HLH Network won the 2025 British Society for Rheumatology Best Practice and Patient Choice awards.

She did her PhD at UCL on lupus nephritis and now co-leads a hyperinflammation translational research program.
